“Direct contact with the players…” the COO’s big statement on the reshuffle of the Gujarat Titans

Ahead of IPL 2024, there was a big change in the Gujarat Titans team. Team captain Hardik Pandya has returned to his old franchise team Mumbai Indians. Now, Gujarat Titans Chief Operating Officer Arvinder Singh opened up and said that the other franchise had approached Shami, the team’s best fast bowler, for a swap, saying that teams do not approach the players directly for a swap should contact.

However, he did not disclose the name of the franchise that contacted Shami about a trade. Yes, but he definitely advised teams to follow the BCCI procedure instead of contacting anyone directly. Responding to a question on Mohammed Shami in News 18, Gujarat’s chief operating officer said, “I think it is wrong for a franchise to have direct contact with the player or the coaching staff.” Teams should follow the BCCI procedure .”

Hardik Pandya proved to be a winning captain of Gujarat Titans in both seasons. He led the team to the finals in both seasons and also won the title once.
