Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has once again publicly expressed his sorrow over the passing of his close friend and colleague, Dharmendra. Sinha shared an emotional tribute on social media, detailing his recent visit to Dharmendra’s family.
On December 1, 2025, Sinha visited Dharmendra’s residence in Mumbai. He met with Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, and their daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Sinha described the encounter as heartbreaking, acknowledging the family’s immense loss.
He posted on X, formerly Twitter, stating, “Met our dearest family friend @dreamgirlhema. It was heart breaking to meet her in these traumatic times of her tremendous loss of our dearest family friend our elder brother @aapkadharam. Met her two beautiful daughters @Esha_Deol #AhanaDeol with comforting words for their…”. Sinha added that Dharmendra was a noble and kind-hearted person whose memories would endure. He offered prayers for Dharmendra and strength for his grieving family.

This is not Sinha’s first tribute since Dharmendra’s passing. On November 29, 2025, he shared another heartfelt message on X. He had visited Dharmendra’s home after returning from Delhi.
During that visit, Sinha met with Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with Bobby’s wife Tanya and other family members. Sinha posted that Dharmendra would be remembered as a remarkable personality who touched countless lives. He emphasized Dharmendra’s immortal legacy and extended wishes for peace and strength to his family.

Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, at his Mumbai residence. He was 89 years old. His prolific career spanned 65 years, during which he appeared in more than 300 films.
Sinha and Dharmendra collaborated on numerous projects throughout their careers. Their joint filmography includes titles such as ‘Blackmail,’ ‘Aag Hi Aag,’ ‘Humse Na Takrana,’ ‘Shehzade,’ and ‘Loha.’
