After facing a bad defeat in the first 2 Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, now more than half of the players in the Australian team have returned home before the third Test match. Also included in this is a name of leadoff hitter David Warner. Who has been ruled out of this tour with an elbow injury during the second Test match.
After arriving in Australia, David Warner expressed his sadness at being out of this tour by posting on social media. It is not an easy task for the Kangaroo team to return in this test series, as captain Pat Cummins has also returned to the country. Who will not be seen playing even in the third test match because his mother fell seriously ill.
On social media, David Warner posted some photos from this tour and wrote in his caption that I am very sad to be out of the series due to injury. Also those memories I didn’t want. I would like to thank all the fans who have supported us in the games played so far. The result of the Delhi Test match was not in our favour, but there are still 2 Test matches left in the series and I hope we will be back soon.
When the Australian team came to play the Test series on this tour, there was much discussion about David Warner’s form from then on. Following this, when Warner managed to score just 1 and 10 runs in both innings in the Nagpur Test match, there was talk of him being dropped from the Delhi Test match.
Following this, Delhi was able to score 15 runs during the first innings of the Test Match and then due to injury was unable to play any further in this Test Match. Now that Warner is off this tour, questions have started to arise about his future in Test cricket.
