The current PM of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif is the younger brother of former PM Nawaz Sharif. It is being told that Shahbaz Sharif wanted to bring Dar back and include him in his ministry. For this he also met Dar and his brother Nawaz Sharif in London.

Now Pakistan’s former finance minister Ishaq Dar has returned to his country after being in exile for five years. He is ready to take over the responsibility of Finance Minister once again. This information was given in media reports on Tuesday. Dar has vowed to rescue Pakistan, which is facing cash crunch. Senior leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) returned to Pakistan from London with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday. Dar, who has been in self-exile since 2017 after being accused in a corruption case, told the media after landing at the Noor Khan airbase that he would “bring this country out of the economic vortex”. Like in 2013-14, once again we will get Pakistan out of the economic crisis.

Dar was in Britain for five years

There is a lot of hope that we will move in a positive economic direction. During his stay in London, Prime Minister Sharif had proposed to make Dar the finance minister of the financially troubled Pakistan. The meeting took place in the presence of Sharif’s elder brother and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif has been living in self-exile in the UK for the past five years after being made an accused in a corruption case. The meeting was also attended by outgoing Finance Minister Miftah Ismail and some senior leaders of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Dar was the finance minister at the time of Nawaz Sharif

Dar was the finance minister when Nawaz Sharif was the prime minister. Later, when he was accused of corruption, he left the country and went to Britain. The arrest warrant issued against Dar in this case was recently stayed by the accountability court. After this, the way for Dar’s return home was cleared. However, former PM Imran Khan is opposing it. He is constantly condemning and gheraoing Shahbaz Sharif for this.
