Rumors about his state of health they forced the family to disclose a statement on Wednesday, in which it was ruled out that he suffers from Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s or ALS.
In the same message, it was detailed that “Daniel is only going through a state of sadness with signs of depression as a result of the situation experienced during the pandemicthe circumstances of having been away from his friends and his usual activity, coupled with his deafness problem that contributed to isolate him much more and that sporadically damaged his mood”.
Passarella, 69, was world champion in Argentina 1978, as team captain, and in Mexico 1986 without participating for a minute on the court. He was also DT of the team in the World Cup in France ’98.
