Cibao FC will receive O&M on Saturday in matchday 12 of the LDF

Exhibiting a zero draw in their first confrontation, Cibao FC and the O&M University will collide again this Saturday, in matchday 12 of the Dominican Soccer League (LDF 2023), a match that will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the stadium of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.

Both elevenths are in qualifying positions for the Liguilla, occupying places 1 and 3, where the first 6 clubs qualify.

Cibaeños and university students faced each other on April 11 at the Pan-American stadium in San Cristóbal, where there was no presence of “Señor Gol” for either team.

The three-time champions of Cibao FC have played 10 games and remain undefeated with 8 wins and 2 draws, for a total of 26 accumulated points.

The O & M University has also played 10 games, with 5 wins, 2 losses and 3 draws for 18 points, one less than Moca FC, which has 19 in second position.

The orange goal has been shielded by goalkeeper Miguel Lloyd, who has only allowed 3 goals, while his teammates have 22 for a positive balance of plus 19.

The goals scored for Cibao FC are headed by 4 by Colombian Juan David Díaz, while with 3 goals are Erick Japa, Yunior Peralta, Carlos “El Caballo” Ventura and the surprising defender Oscar Florencio.
