The news said that the country will take measures to protect territorial integrity and land borders and against any attempts to undermine land borders and territorial sovereignty. According to Xinhua, the law also stipulates to strengthen border security, facilitate economic and social development, open up border areas, improve public services and infrastructure in such areas, promote it, and improve the lives of the people there. In accordance with the law, the country will deal with neighboring countries on land border issues respecting the principles of equality, mutual trust and friendly dialogue and will resort to dialogue for the proper resolution of long-pending border issues and disputes. He said that the Chinese army will do its duty on the border by conducting exercises and firmly preventing attacks, invasions, provocations and other activities.

China has strengthened its border infrastructure in recent years. It has expanded the air, rail and road network.
