After 3 rounds of the Superior Argentine Championship, which is taking place in Bariloche, Grandmaster Fernando Peralta is the only leader of the contest after drawing with GM Sandro Mareco with black pieces and defeating IM Kevin Paveto with white pieces. Peralta took advantage of the double day and after a good start by beating GM Alan Pichot, he continues to show a great level and is positioned at the top of the championship.

Mareco, for his part, also drew against Pichot in the afternoon session, which places him as a mid-unit guard. The Grand Masters Diego Flores and Leandro Krysa, and the International Master Pablo Acosta also have two points.. Flores started the tournament with 2 points out of 2, but found himself up against the young MF Joaquín Fiorito (1.5 points), who, playing a great game, managed to defeat him in 37 moves, while Krysa and Acosta defeated GMs Sorin and Valerga , respectively.
