Peralta took advantage of the double day and after a good start by beating GM Alan Pichot, he continues to show a great level and is positioned at the top of the championship.
Mareco, for his part, also drew against Pichot in the afternoon session, which places him as a mid-unit guard. The Grand Masters Diego Flores and Leandro Krysa, and the International Master Pablo Acosta also have two points.. Flores started the tournament with 2 points out of 2, but found himself up against the young MF Joaquín Fiorito (1.5 points), who, playing a great game, managed to defeat him in 37 moves, while Krysa and Acosta defeated GMs Sorin and Valerga , respectively.
