Changes in Team India for Dharamsala Test, KL Rahul out; Bumrah is back

There was a change in Team India for the final Test match which will be played against England. Injured KL Rahul will not be part of Team India for the Dharamsala Test either. However, Jasprit Bumrah, who did not take part in the Ranchi Test, has returned to Team India. Washington Sundar will not be a part of Team India in the 5th Test either. Washington Sundar has been released for Ranji games. Apart from this, no new player was added to Team India for the last Test.

BCCI issued a statement saying, “KL Rahul’s participation in the Dharamshala Test was dependent on passing the fitness test.” But KL Rahul will not take part in the Dharamshala Test as he is not recovering. The BCCI medical team is taking care of KL Rahul. KL Rahul has also been sent to London for better treatment.”

The BCCI statement further said, “Jasprit Bumrah was released from the team before the Ranchi Test.” But Jasprit Bumrah has returned for the 5th Test. Bumrah will join Team India in Dharamshala. Washington Sundar has been released for Ranji games. Sundar will play for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji game against Mumbai. Sundar will join Team India for the final Test only if required.

Shami will be outside

We tell you that Mohammed Shami was also unable to take part in the Test series against England due to injury. Mohammed Shami recently underwent surgery in London. It may take three to four months for Shami to return to the field. However, despite his poor performance, Rajat Patidar will remain associated with Team India in the final Test.
