the british Jamie Chadwick, double champion of the W Series, consolidated her leadership at the start of this world championship by winning this Sunday at the Miami Grand Prix ahead of the Spanish Nerea Martí (Quantfury), the only one who was able to keep up with her.

Chadwick dominated the race from start to finish. He started from the ‘pole’ and remained in the lead for the 17 laps of the second race of the W Series, held on the circuit that surrounds the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins of the NFL play.

Martí once again demonstrated his competitiveness in Miami and after achieving pole position on Saturdaytried today with Chadwick, but never managed to worry the winner of the last two editions of this women’s competition.

The Valencian crossed the finish line with a disadvantage of 2.997 seconds over the British, who put more than 8 seconds to her compatriot Alice Powell (Click 2 Drive), third.

The also Spanish Belén García (Quantfury) was fourth and her compatriot Marta García (CortDao) had to settle for ninth place today.

Marta finished Saturday’s race in second place but a penalty announced this Sunday for “causing an accident” on yesterday’s last lap finally relegated her to eleventh position.

After the result of this Sunday, Chadwick is leader of the championship, with 50 points, followed by Martí (26) and the Dutch Beitske Visser (21).
