The trailer for “Gustaakh Ishq,” the debut film from celebrated designer Manish Malhotra’s production house Stage 5, has been released. The film, starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is set to premiere this month.
Following the trailer’s launch on Monday, numerous celebrities took to social media to congratulate Malhotra and praise the upcoming romance. Their reactions highlight significant anticipation for the film.
Kareena Kapoor shared the trailer on her Instagram story, writing, “Well done my darling, Manish Malhotra. Congratulations to the entire team for your production’s first film. The trailer is lovely. All the best guys.”
Filmmaker Karan Johar also reacted, calling it “What an amazing film. Gorgeous romance pro max.” He added, “Such films are rare, and the music is incredible. The magic of Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar sahib.”
Kiara Advani expressed her excitement, stating, “When many talented people come together, magic happens. Eagerly awaiting this film.”

In addition to Varma and Shaikh, the film features veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. Shah will portray a renowned poet, with Vijay Varma as his disciple and Fatima Sana Shaikh playing Shah’s daughter.
Vibha Puri directed “Gustaakh Ishq.” The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on November 25, 2025.
