CD Projekt’s latest financial report reveals a surprisingly strong performance in 2024. The company’s revenue and profit may have dipped compared to 2023, but it still raked in a substantial amount of cash – $254 million in revenue and $121.5 million in net profit. That’s impressive, considering they didn’t release any new games last year.
The main drivers behind this success? Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion, Phantom Liberty. These two products generated a whopping $155.1 million in revenue for the company. Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 30 million copies, while Phantom Liberty has shifted around 8 million units. And with the latest sales figures dating back to November 2024, it’s likely that these numbers have risen even higher.
CD Projekt RED is now focusing on developing The Witcher IV and a new, untitled Cyberpunk game, codenamed Project Orion. Don’t expect The Witcher IV to hit shelves anytime soon, though – the team has already confirmed that it won’t be released until 2027.
