Casa de Campo will celebrate the First International Women’s Cup in the country

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas announced this Tuesday the celebration of the First International Women’s Polo Cup, to be played on Saturday, March 11 of this year.

In a press release, Casa de Campo informed that this First International Polo Cup will be held in honor of International Women’s Day. The event will feature players from Argentina, Italy, Paraguay, the United States and Venezuela, making it a truly international event.

The great polo event, which was created by the lover of this sport and resident of Casa de Campo, the Argentine Carolina Rainer de Matos, will have Fernando Arata as technical director, together with Patricia Panzarasa, Director of the Women’s Polo Circuit in Argentina .

The organizers of the event indicate in the press release that they hope that the First International Women’s Polo Cup in the Dominican Republic will showcase the talent and passion of female polo players and inspire more women to get involved in this exciting sport.

The women’s tournament will be for a good cause. The cup supports the “Madres Maravillas” program, which directly impacts 167 mothers from Hogar del Niño and more than 500 sons and daughters in conditions of extreme vulnerability after having lost their jobs due to the pandemic. “By attending the event, you will help make a real difference in the lives of these families,” the press release says.

Some of the players that will participate in the tournament are Arianna van Schermbeek, from Venezuela; Praxilla Trabattoni, from Italy; Veronica Posse, from Argentina; Mary Jo Reinhardt, from the United States; Stephania Spitale Campos Cervera, from Italy; Clelia Crespo, from Argentina; Guillermina Suffern, from Argentina and Malena; Sicily Colombo, also from Argentina.
