Sachets of herbal cannabis, bearing the effigy of the Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti, were discovered in a vehicle during the arrest of a man on Friday evening, in the suburbs of Grenoble.
The suspect, placed in police custody, had left a car in a hurry as the municipal police of Echirolles approached, around 11:30 p.m.
Police officers from the Legal Support Group discovered, inside the vehicle in question, “a bar of cannabis resin, 86 resin strips, 10 sachets of herbal cannabis and seven pipettes of cocaine, all packaged for the sale ”, according to the police, who specifies that“ the sachets of grass bear the effigy of the current Minister of Justice ”.
Distributed by the Departmental Directorate of Public Security in Isère, a photo of one of them shows a caricature of Mr. Dupond-Moretti, represented in legal uniform. According to AFP, it would have been borrowed from the cartoonist Miss Lilou.
