Campaigns with more teams with pitchers without complete games

Campañas con mas equipos con pitchers sin juegos completos

In the Major Leagues, since its inception, the teams have always had at least one pitcher who has thrown a complete game in a campaign, until the one held in 2007 when the Washington Nationals, the Florida Marlins and the Texas Rangers they didn’t have any of their starters that could complete a game, but the most franchises that one of their starting pitchers hasn’t completed at least one game is nine and this happened in 2018. Those teams were the San Diego Padres , Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rokies, Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays none of the starters for these clubs threw complete games.

The Milwaukee Brewers is the team that has had the most seasons without having a pitcher without completing a game with four in 2012-2016-2018 and 2019.

Did you know that: Immortal Cooperstown pitcher Hoyt Wilhelm homered in his first at-bat and is one of 23 players to hit one and never hit another in the big leagues. In that group is the Dominican Wilkin Ramírez, who homered in 2009 wearing the jersey of the Detroit Tigers.
