Cádiz CF plans round business with the last pearl of the quarry

The Cadiz CF has one of the best quarry in all of Europe and this has been demonstrated in recent years. Now, they have a new pearl with which they will try repeat an operation like Manu Vallejo’s, for which they took about five million euros with their transfer.

The architect of this has been Alvaro Cervera, who has decided to trust a young footballer ahead of others such as Álex Fernández, Jönsson or Martín Calderón, among others. And at the moment the bet is not going bad at all for the performance shown.

That footballer is Álvaro Bastida, born in 2004 and who at only 17 years old already knows what it is to play as a starter for Cádiz CF. Something that is not easy at all, because the yellow team is a very organized team in defense and with a clear philosophy of the game that not all players get used to.

However, despite this situation, Álvaro Cervera has trusted the boy, who for the moment has responded perfectly. So much so that he has received a call from the Spanish U18 team, where he is already a regular. And it is expected to continue growing in the coming years.

However, and as usual in these clubs, the great young players do not usually last long. The most recent example is that of Manu Vallejo, who was transferred for 5 million euros to Valencia CF. And everything seems to indicate that Álvaro Bastida could follow the same course.

In spite of this, the play is not at all bad for Cádiz CF, who could obtain great economic profit from its sale. Of course, they will have to hurry in their renewal, because according to Transfermarkt the young footballer has a signed contract with the yellows until June 2022.
