The former president of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro has been joined this Monday in a hospital in the state of Florida, in the extreme southeast of the United States, after complaining of severe abdominal pain.
According to the Brazilian newspaper ‘O Globo’, the former president has been admitted to hospital AdventHealth Celebrationlocated just outside the city of Orlando.
Bolsonaro was the victim of a stabbing in the abdomen in the framework of the 2018 electoral campaign. After this attack, he has had to undergo up to four surgeries.
However, the former president has suffered several episodes of abdominal painfor which he has had to be hospitalized on successive occasions, the most recent in the middle of last November, when he was admitted to the Hospital of the Armed Forces of Brasilia.
This latest hospitalization of Bolsonaro comes just one day after hundreds of sympathizers stormed the headquarters of the State powers in Brasilia, in a episode similar to the one experienced on January 6, 2021 at the United States Capitol.
