“Today Saturday, just 24 hours after the match that our team will play against Central Córdoba, the Mass Events Prosecutor’s Office of the government of the city of Buenos Aires resolved to close the third southern tray of La Bombonera,” published the Boca Board of Directors.
“Given this measure, Club Atlético Boca Juniors communicates that, as always, it has complied with all the necessary procedures; it has delivered the structural data and the pertinent engineering studies to the Government Control Agency of the city of Buenos Aires to have enabled and our stadium is in order,” the message continued.
“It is strange that since the match was held on Sunday and that, again at the request of Prosecutor Celsa Ramírez, the court waited until today to issue the closure, leaving the Club and its fans without the ability to resolve. Boca Juniors regrets this judicial decision , which it considers unfair, discriminatory, surprising and inopportune, due to the proximity of the event,” the club added in the publication.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires had previously reported that the Criminal, Misdemeanor and Offenses Court No. 1, in charge of Dr. Rodolfo Ariza Clerici, ordered the closure of the South Superior Tribune in a preventive manner.
