Blue Archive fans have reason to be excited. Game developers NEXON Games and Yostar recently pulled back the curtain on some big new updates. They showed off a brand-new school, Wildhunt, and also revealed details for the next main story chapter. These announcements came during a recent online mini-live event.
The new Wildhunt school brings a mysterious, artsy vibe to the world of Kivotos. It feels quite different from other schools seen in the game so far. Players will meet some fresh faces from Wildhunt. Shiina Tsumugi and Rena were among the first students shown. Two more characters are set to join the game’s character roster very soon. One is Itagaki Kanoe, who belongs to a mysterious club and seems to enjoy making strange potions. The other is Shirao Eri, who looks like a little adventuring witch with a very large hat.
Wildhunt will arrive in the Japanese version of the game on August 20th. This new content will come as part of a special event, similar to how the Highlander school was first introduced.
That wasn’t the only surprise from the team. They also officially unveiled Main Story Vol. 6. This new chapter will dive deeper into the story of the Arius school. Players will see familiar faces from the Arius squad, like Saori, Atsuko, Misaki, and Hiyori. There will also be new characters joining the storyline. Vol. 6 is scheduled to update in the Japanese server on September 17th.
