Since the dangerous success of Squid Game on the streaming platform, netflix has stepped up to produce more Korean content. If since then, Netflix has experienced ups and downs in terms of Korean production, this Blackknight, series to come in May 2023, seems to keep all its promises, demonstrates this first trailer à la Mad Max.
The series takes place fifty years in the future. It is adapted from a webtoon of the same name. We follow the adventures of a delivery driver, in a desolate world where the scarcity of oxygen now forces survivors to wear a breathing mask. Our driver must deliver cargoes of oxygen, and face the many journeys that fall on such a mission in a universe without faith or law.
After Squid Game and its 1.6 billion hours of viewing in twenty-eight days, or the huge successes of All of Us Are Dead And The Glory, netflix try again by attacking the very promising market of South Korea. Black Knight is expected on May 12, 2023 on Netflix.
