BJP leader uproar over woman doctor wearing hijab

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader caused an uproar after a female doctor wore a hijab in India.

According to an Indian media report, a BJP leader in the state of Tamil Nadu caused an uproar over the wearing of a hijab by a female doctor on duty in a hospital. The incident took place in a government hospital in Nagpatnam district.

According to information, the lady doctor was wearing hijab during the night duty here. This did not go well with the BJP leader and he started an argument with the lady doctor.

The female doctor complained about the matter to the police, after which a case has been registered against the leader.

It should be noted that the video of the BJP leader’s commotion has also gone viral on social media. In the video, BJP leader Bhuvneshwar Ram can be seen objecting to the wearing of hijab by a female doctor in government healthcare, who is said to be Jannat Firdaus.

Bhuvneshwar asks the lady doctor on night duty if she is really a doctor, as she is not wearing a uniform and is wearing a hijab.

In the video, the woman is saying that she should not shoot a video of a female doctor without permission. Others present at the spot also recorded a video of Bhuvneshwar Ram’s commotion and said that he was filming a woman doctor at night without permission.

However, later the matter reached the police and the police registered a case against the BJP leader for harassing the woman.
