Bitcoin (BTC) is currently doing very well. Last week we wrote that the price is already valid in 14 different countries has reached all-time highs. The fun isn’t over yet as that number has now grown to over 30 countries.
Bitcoin price in euros and dollars almost new record
Bitcoin price has risen sharply again and is already above $60,500 at the time of writing. This is the highest price since November 2021 and is therefore just below All-time high this year. The price only needs to rise by just over 14 percent to reach a new record.
The coin also performs well when measured in euros, as the largest cryptocurrency is worth around 56,200 euros. This is only 5 percent away from the previous high.
Bitcoin already at record levels in poorer countries

Together they have a population of almost 4.9 billion people, more than 60 percent of the world’s population. In addition, the countries have a combined gross domestic product (GDP) of $31.9 trillion, which is about 31 percent of the entire world’s gross domestic product.
Countries such as Argentina, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan and even Japan were already on the list. Angola, China, Indonesia and South Africa have now been added. Some countries are particularly noteworthy. For example, according to official figures, China has the second largest GDP in the world and the second largest population in the world.
Srinivasan probably says “more than” because the number is increasing so quickly that it might be difficult to measure. The screenshot shows 31 countries, but by the time you read this it’s entirely possible that the number has increased again.
