An agreement was reached between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates to boost the economy.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a comprehensive economic partnership agreement to promote trade.
Speaking in Istanbul, Tayyip Erdoğan said that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement will take the economy and trade relations to a new stage.
He believes that the agreement will enable the trade volume between the countries to increase to $25 billion in five years.
Addressing the signing ceremony via video link, Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that with the signing of the agreement, economic and trade relations between the two countries will enter a new era.
He said that the 50-year-old relationship between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates is based on a strong foundation. Thanks to the agreement, barriers to trade in goods and services will be removed and the activities of our investors and entrepreneurs will be facilitated.
