Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said that Belarus can only join the war if Ukraine strikes first.
He said this while answering journalists’ questions about the role of Belarus in the Ukraine war.
He has said that if Ukrainian soldiers enter the country to kill the people of Belarus, then only in this case we can fight against Ukraine together with Russia. If they attack Belarus, the response will be very severe and the complexion of the war will change completely.
Lukashenko has said that this situation will be accepted not only in the case of Ukraine but also for other neighboring countries.
Lukashenko referred to statements by Western leaders that the Minsk agreements were aimed at preparing the Ukrainian army for war, and said that the Ukrainian administration itself had fueled the war.
He has said that the West is responsible for the current tension because the West does not want negotiations for peace in Ukraine.
President Aleksandr Lukashenko has added that America is also using Europe in the way it wants.
