BCCI issued central Indian players contract, loss for these veterans

The Indian Cricket Board has issued the India Team Central Contract. Many veteran players have suffered on the new contract list. Captain Rohit Sharma, former captain Virat Kohli and fast pitcher Jasprit Bumrah are at Grade A+ (A+) in BCCI’s new annual contract.

Veteran players Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have suffered heavy losses on the new yearly contract list. Apart from this, the all-round star Hardik Pandya, who is out of the squad due to injury, has also been demoted. Rahane and Pujara have moved from Grade A to Grade B. At the same time, Hardik Pandya moved from grade A to C. Apart from this, veteran batsman Wriddhiman Saha has been graded from B to C in BCCI center contract after being removed from the test team.

The Indian Cricket Board pays player salaries in four categories. This includes grades A+ (A+), A (A), B (B), and C (C). A+ players get Rs 7 crore per year. At the same time, those rated A get Rs 5 crore. Other than this, Grade B earns Rs 3 crore and Grade C earns Rs 1 crore per year.
