BCCI fined Tim David and Kieron Pollard for making this big mistake in the game against PBKS

Mumbai Indians team player Tim David and his batting coach Kieron Pollard have been fined by the BCCI for violating the IPL code of conduct during the match. Both of them made a big mistake in the game against Punjab Kings, following which BCCI fined them 20 percent of their match fees. Tim David and Pollard admitted their error at the referee hearing on this matter and were subsequently fined.

Both were fined under Level 1 rules

IPL’s information on the fine imposed on Tim David and Kieron Pollard stated that both were fined for violating the IPL Code of Conduct in the match against Punjab Kings. Tim David and Pollard have committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.20 of the Code of Conduct. Because of this, David and Pollard were fined 20 percent of their match fees. In the event of a breach of this Code of Conduct, the match referee’s decision will be final. In this matter, both have accepted their mistake.

A fine is being considered for pointing out the use of DRS

IPL’s statement to Tim David and Kieron Pollard did not mention what error caused both of them to face this fine. It is believed that during the match against Punjab Kings, when Suryakumar Yadav was batting in the 15th over, on a ball from Arshdeep Singh, he signaled to take DRS by taking a wide ball from the dugout, after which it was DRS The captain of the Punjab Kings had also raised objections in this regard. After that, Surya took DRS and the third umpire declared that ball wide.
