The Portuguese company of personalized feed, Barkynhas just acquired the Spanish Happets (Customized Pet Food) with the aim of strengthening its business in southern Europe. Happets, a company founded in 2019 in Barcelona, It will allow Barkyn to have a 30% growth in its turnover.

happy reached net sales of more than 1 million euros in 2021 and has a workforce of 10 employees. Behind the personalized feed brand is the company Winter, which is linked to the Agrolimen group of the Carulla family, which has in the petfood sector the company Affinity Pet Care.
While Barkyn was founded in 2018 by André Jordão and Ricardo Macedo. It currently has a team of 65 people and in the first quarter of 2020 it managed to triple its turnover. It recently closed a €5 million funding round and is backed by 7 Graus, Five Seasons Ventures, Indico Capital Partners, All Iron Ventures, Portugal Ventures and Shilling Capital.
