Bail conditions of Do Kwon have been accepted by court of Montenegro

Do Kwon, who was charged in Montenegro with, among other things, document forgery, has received approval for the proposed bail conditions from the authorities of Montenegro.

Bail offer has been accepted along with house arrest

On May 12, the local authority has an official document released stating that the court has accepted bail offers for Kwon and Chang-joon, each worth 400,000 euros ($436,000), along with house arrest.

If the house arrest is violated, the bail will be included in a special section of the court’s budget, according to the documents.

In addition, the notice states that the authenticity of the travel documents and identity cards allegedly issued by the competent authorities of Belgium will be verified.

This update comes just a day after Kwon’s lawyers submitted their request to the Montenegrin authorities to accept these terms.
