Badass people join Taliban ranks, cleansing begins

Afghan Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani says the Afghan Taliban’s 20-year struggle and, with God’s help, succeeded in removing the occupying forces from the country by ending unrest in the country.

In his message to Taliban fighters and other members of the movement on Tuesday, Sirajuddin Haqqani said that at the beginning of the jihad there were only a handful of people but with the help of Allah our goal was achieved successfully, we need sincere people not more Is.

“We are not against the inclusion of new people in the Taliban movement, but they can be added only after proper education and training according to the prevailing procedure,” he said. The Taliban leader said that such people would first have to reform themselves by enrolling in a Taliban-run academy so that they could be aware of the Taliban’s objectives and aims.

Sirajuddin Haqqani said that the comrades who are covering up such people on the basis of personal ties are harming the movement. This act will not only harm the people but also Allah will be angry.

It may be recalled that the Taliban’s interim government has formed a commission headed by Mufti Latifullah Hakimi to expel non-Taliban members from the movement, which has launched a nationwide inquiry into the matter.

In a meeting with security officials in Kabul three days ago, Mufti Latifullah Hakimi, head of the Taliban’s clearance commission, said the ranks needed to be cleared to maintain order.

Mufti Latifullah Hakimi told military and security officials in various provinces that the most important and first step in maintaining order was to clear the ranks and that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would not allow any corrupt person to enter the system.
