Bad news for Chennai Super Kings, this all round star will be out of IPL; know the reason

There is bad news for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The team’s all-rounder, Kyle Jamieson, has been injured again. He will now have to undergo surgery. In such a situation, he will have to stay away from the field for a long time, that is, he will not be seen in the IPL this time. Jamieson was bought by CSK for Rs 1 crore at the IPL 2023 auction.

By the way, Kyle Jamieson was injured for a long time. In June 2022 he played his last international match. After this, he was unable to recover from a back injury for 7 months. He recently got fit and got a place in the New Zealand Test squad against England, but here he again complained of back pain. It is now said that Jamison will have to undergo back surgery and will not be able to return to the field for at least 4 months.

Due to Kyle Jamieson’s long-term injury, only CSK bid on him in the IPL 2023 auction. Head coach Stephen Fleming informed CSK team management that Jamison is recovering and can play in IPL. In such a situation, CSK had included Jamison in its squad at its own base price. But this bet on CSK failed.

New Zealand manager Gary Stead said: ‘Kyle Back is in contact with the surgeon and will have to undergo surgery this week. This is a challenging and difficult time for Kyle and a great loss for us. Every time he’s been a part of our team, he’s put in good performances. Now we can only pray for them. In the next three or four months, it will be clear when he will return to the field.

The versatile New Zealander Kyle Jamieson is only 28 years old. He has been amazing in test cricket. He has taken 72 wickets in just 16 Test matches. His bowling average has been 19.45. He has won major caps for New Zealand many times on the basis of his bowling. At the same time, he is known for hitting fast in T20I and ODI. His strike rate in T20 International is 150+.
