The The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has formalized this Thursday the specifications for the commercialization of the audiovisual rights of futsal in all its categories (First Male and Female Federation and Second Federation). The period covers three seasons: 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26. The deadline for submitting offers closes on April 21 at 11:59 p.m.
At the moment, the league has a television contract valid until June 30, 2023 with LaLigaSportsTV. However, after the rejection in Congress last week about the professionalization of futsal, the federation would assume television control of the matches, according to the Decree of April 2020. Until now, the RFEF broadcasts, live and openly, some of the matches of the day, those who LaLigaSportsTV, payment platform, does not issue. it will be this time the first time that the RFEF fully and exclusively sells the audiovisual rights of futsal.
One of the novelties that the holder will take to broadcast openly and exclusively the matches of the First Futsal Federation, will be the Possibility of broadcasting one game per day of the First Feminine Futsal Federation. This measure seeks to promote the dissemination of futsal, promoting its social awareness.

offer is made according to the different legal texts in force. These rights include the events held prior to the match and within the sports venue, as well as the two minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the match and up to the minute following its conclusion, also including broadcasting rights in both modalities, in direct and deferred.
The offer covers five different lots:
- lot 1: broadcast of an exclusive open match of the First Federation.
- lot 2: live and exclusive broadcast of all the matches of the First Federation, except the one awarded in the first batch.
- lot 3: individual access (match by match) to the First Federation matches not awarded in the two previous batches.
- Lot 4 and 5: relating to each match of the Second Men’s Federation. Lot 4 includes exclusive matches and Lot 5 non-exclusive matches.
In addition, among all the bases, it has also been established that, the purchaser of lot 1 will have the possibility of broadcasting one match per day on Teledeporte (national and open). Also, it is established that each club must be broadcast at least once a season as a local, offering the possibility to the successful bidder of broadcasting one game per day of regular competition of the First Feminine Futsal Federation.
