Arjun Tendulkar left Mumbai with fewer opportunities, will now play domestic cricket for Goa

Arjun Tendulkar, son of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, left Mumbai. He will now be seen playing cricket for Goa in the new domestic season. Arjun has made this decision after receiving fewer opportunities from Mumbai. He has also applied for a Certificate of No Objection (NoC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Left arm pacemaker Arjun Tendulkar had the last chance to play two T20Is at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January. After this, he failed to get a place in the Mumbai playing XI. He was definitely included in Mumbai’s squad for the group stage at Ranji Trophy 2022, but he didn’t get a chance to play here. After this, he too was eliminated from the team in the Ranji Trophy knockout stage.

Sachin Tendulkar’s sports management company ‘SRT’ has said on this matter: ‘Arjun needs to play more and more matches at this time. We hope that this change will give you the opportunity to play as many matches as possible. He is entering a new phase of his cricket career.

Arjun Tendulkar has also been part of the IPL Mumbai Indians franchise team for the last 2 years. But he so far he has not had the opportunity to debut. Due to Mumbai’s back-to-back loss in IPL 2022, Arjun’s debut was discussed many times, but he could not be included in the playing XI.
