The President of the Spanish Episcopal Conference and Archbishop of Valladolid, Luis Argüello, assured today that life is the main pillar of the Right and appealed to all the groups that have supported the Popular Legislative Initiative (ILP), which calls for an extraordinary regularization of life for foreigners in an irregular administrative situation in Spain with residence before November 1, 2021, who today enjoy the support of all political groups except Vox in Congress, reject abortion as a right.
In his X report, Monsignor Argüello assured that the right to life is the cornerstone of all other rights, especially the life of the most vulnerable. “How good it would be if those of us who have defended the dignity of migrants by promoting an ILP now oppose defining abortion as a right.”
