Argentina kicked off the South American Sub 17 soccer tournament with a win over Venezuela

The Argentine men’s Under 17 soccer team began tonight its performance in the South American of the category, in Ecuador, with a comprehensive 4-2 victory over Venezuela.

In a match corresponding to the first day of group B of the continental tournament, played at the Emelec stadium in Guayaquil, those led by coach Diego Placente achieved a convincing success, supported by an effective collective performance

The goals for the albiceleste cast were the work of Claudio Echeverri, Santiago López and Agustín Ruberto (two). The goals of the losing team were scored by David Martínez from a penalty and Junior Colina.

Argentina will play the second match of the tournament, which will award four places for the World Cup of the category, this Sunday, at 9:00 p.m., facing Bolivia, which today defeated Peru 2-1.
