Despite the inconveniences that it aroused with the clubs in Europe, especially with the Premier League, the Spanish League and the Italian Serie A, FIFA will repeat the triple-match qualifying schedule in the October window. As a result of the request submitted by the South American Football Confederation, the governing body confirmed for Thursday the 7th, Sunday the 10th and Thursday the 14th of October the next three qualifying days heading to Qatar 2022.
The Argentina National Team, second in the positions with 18 units to six of the leader Brazil (24), will visit Paraguay on Thursday 7, in a duel of the eleventh date. On Sunday 10 he will play at home against Uruguay, in a postponed day 5, and on Thursday 14 he will complete the triple date against Peru, also at home, in the match of the twelfth day.
From that confirmation, Conmebol asked the Associations that make it up the scheme of schedules, cities and venues, which will be announced officially in the coming days.
