Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, Z Fold4, Google Pixel 7 Pro and Nothing Phone (1) defeated

“The Best Smartphone award combines outstanding performance, innovation and leadership, as determined by the evaluation of smartphones on the market during the period between January and December 2022, carried out by leading independent analysts, journalists and influencers”, it can be read. .
SOS emergency satellite gives Apple another award
But this wasn’t the only category where Apple and the iPhone 14 Pro stood out. That’s because the device also won in the “Device with Disruptive Innovation” category, for satellite emergency SOS functionality.
In case you didn’t know, this is a feature that Apple debuted on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, still limited to the United States. It allows users to “send SMS messages to emergency services when they don’t have mobile coverage and Wi-Fi. You can also use the Find My app to share your location with others via satellite.”
Basically, it is a way for users to access emergency services in exceptional circumstances, when they cannot otherwise.
