Appeal to see the moon of Ramadan on Friday

The Saudi Supreme Court has appealed to the public to observe the month of Ramadan on Friday, April 1 (Sha’ban 29).

According to the Arab website, the Saudi Supreme Court has instructed the local committees of Ruwit-e-Hilal to cooperate with each other in good deeds and piety. The people have also been appealed to observe the month of Ramadan on Friday.

The Supreme Court in its statement said that according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar, Friday, April 1 is 29 Sha’ban, the day on which the month of Ramadan will be observed.

The Supreme Court has said that if any of the committees or individuals of Ruwit-e-Hilal saw the moon on that day, they should register their testimony.
