Announced 100 km and 5 k race of the Caribbean Propagandas

The fifth edition of the 100km del Caribe Non Stop by Propagas as well as the 5k Family Run Propagas will be held on May 7 and 8, departing from San José de Ocoa and traveling through various communities in the central mountain range.

The event is an ecological race that seeks to promote and educate about caring for the environment and natural resources.

The information was offered by Dr. Rosa Margarita Bonetti de Santana, president of the Propagas Foundation; Orlando Jorge Mera, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, and Mariluz Viñas, director of the event, during a press conference held in the Multipurpose Room of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

The fifth edition of the 100km Caribbean Non Stop by Propagas international race will be held on Sunday, May 7, starting at 4:00 in the morning, departing from Rancho Francisco in the city of San José de Ocoa, crossing the Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo, arriving at the Hotel Altocerro, in Constanza, traveling a distance of 100 kilometers in a maximum time of 24 hours.

On Sunday, May 8, at 10:00 in the morning, the 5k Family Run Propagas race will begin at the Hotel Altocerro where the closing of both races will be held in a happy and family atmosphere.
