With the aim of encouraging young Dominicans to fulfill their dreams through sports preparation, the telecommunications company Altice Dominicana signed an alliance with Dream Big, a non-profit institution, in which Altice agrees to cover all associated costs. to the sports practices and clinics that these young people require to be able to access international sports scholarships coordinated and provided by the Dream Big institution.
For 12 years, Dream Big has provided support to young people with very limited resources, with great potential and talent in sports, especially baseball, to consolidate their sports and academic abilities, pairing up at a local level in a first stage, to later be able to place in the sports scholarship programs of more than 35 universities with which Dream Big has an alliance in the United States.
In this agreement, which will impact 150 prospects, Altice will be the ally in the initial stage of preparation of these young people, which represents the most important stage in the process of successfully placing the scholarships that will allow them to access very high quality studies and At the same time, they will be able to develop their sporting talent.
The alliance will concretely allow access to local and international coaches, props and materials necessary for practices that include 20 mandatory weekly hours in the training process of young people.
