Alsace: a cat saves his master, victim of a malaise

His cat saved his life. A 67-year-old man was found lying on the floor of his apartment in Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), after feeling bad. He had been lying there for three days.

Surprisingly enough, the help was alerted by … a kitten. The animal wandered alone on the veranda. He meowed several times, which caught the attention of the neighbors, he reports Blue France. So they decided to contact 17.

A window that was left open allowed the police to enter the apartment. They found the owner of the cat in great difficulty, unable to get up after feeling unwell three days earlier. He was disoriented and made inconsistent comments.

The man was treated by firefighters. The kitten, meanwhile, was taken in by the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) in Strasbourg.
