The Countdown to the 2025 Formula 1 Season Begins
As the new year unfolds, the world of Formula 1 is abuzz with excitement. The 2025 season promises to be an electrifying ride, filled with changes, surprises, and high-stakes competition. The season’s opening race is scheduled to take place on March 16 at Melbourne’s Albert Park, marking a significant milestone in the Formula 1 calendar. As the teams gear up for the big day, they will first converge on London’s O2 Arena for a historic joint presentation, where they will unveil their cars, drivers, and team managers to the world.
The real action, however, will begin with the preseason tests, scheduled to take place from February 26 to 28 at the Bahrain Circuit in Sakhir. This will be the first time since 2020 that the circuit will not host the season’s opening race, which has been reclaimed by Melbourne.
Dates and Calendar of F1 2025 Presentations
In the lead-up to the tests and the first race, each team will host its own presentation, showcasing its new vehicle and livery. Williams and Ferrari have already announced that they will have their own ‘launch parties’ in addition to the joint presentation in London.
Williams will be the first team to unveil its new car, the FW47, on Valentine’s Day (February 14) at the Silverstone circuit. The event will feature drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, who will showcase the team’s latest project.
Ferrari, on the other hand, has chosen to reveal its 2025 car on February 19, just after the joint presentation in London. The Italian team’s new project, featuring drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, is highly anticipated and promises to be a major highlight of the season.
