The brilliant youth volleyball athlete, Alondra Tapia, called on the Dominican youth to study, prepare and play sports in a healthy way and said that it is a great honor for her to represent the Dominican Republic in the Queens of the Caribbean.
Her pronouncements were made when she was recognized by the Club Naco Amateur Volleyball League, at the beginning of the 13th anniversary of the Amateur League Tournament with the participation of several teams in the women’s branch.
“I am honored with this recognition, I thank Club Naco for this opportunity, I have worked a lot despite my young age and the experience of studying and playing volleyball in that giant country of Japan, it is helping me greatly as a person and as an athlete” said Alondra Tapia.
The Board of Directors of the Naco club gave a plaque of recognition to the brilliant young volleyball player who has just led her team to the title and was the Most Valuable in the Japan College League where 1,832 schools participated.
The inaugural act of the Club Naco Amateur Volleyball League began with the parade of the participating clubs. The national anthem was interpreted by the Music Band of the Dominican Army.
The words of welcome were given by the first vice president, Madelaine Andino, who called on the teams to compete with gallantry and for the best to win. “Our club will always support these types of events,” she said. The deputy secretary, Michael Alfaro, was also present.
The president of the Amateur League, Audrey Lereaux, called on the teams to compete gallantly and congratulated the volleyball player, Alondra Tapia, for the promotion she has been achieving in the sport she loves.
The League gave recognition to the Director of Sports of the Naco club, Manuel Díaz Coronado for his commitment and dedication in favor of sports from Naco. Several athletes in different lines were also recognized.
The clubs of Body Shop, Amigas Team, Club La Fe, Panda, VoleimonCBC, Madres Serafin de Asis, Poder Judicial, Las Clandestinas, Juveniles de Naco and Liga Amateur Naco participate in the event.
