Alia Bhatt is one of the winners of the Time 100 Impact Award in 2022. In a year in which he has achieved many victories, both professionally and personally, this is yet another achievement for him. Alia was recently seen in the movie Brahmastra with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and it is one of her many hits this year.
Regarding this, he said, “I’ve had some of my biggest releases this year. And I found myself dealing with each release very differently, which surprised me a lot. Much calmer, much more collected.” Alia Bhatt started her year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which was a huge hit.
She was then seen in a cameo role in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, in which there was talk of being sent for the 2023 Oscar nominations. Alia then appeared in her first home production ‘Darlings’, where her performance was widely recognized. She also married her longtime boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, and recently announced her pregnancy.
The Times called Alia a ‘modern woman’ with ‘deficiencies’ and she too reacted. Alia said: “We have a certain social norm where we have to be together, we have to be perfect, we have to be quiet, we have to be simple, we have to speak softly, we have to dress well. In general, everything must pass.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is now looking forward to her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, where she will be seen opposite Gal Gadot. In India, she will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani ki love story, where she will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh.
