Both replace Jonathan Barreiro (Unicaja) and Fran Guerra (Lenovo Tenerife), who are out due to physical discomfort after the Copa del Rey dispute in Badalona.

Spain will begin preparing in Alicante this coming Monday for the last two qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup, a tournament for which it is already classified. The National Team will face Iceland in Reykjavik on Thursday 23 (8:45 p.m.) and Italy in Cáceres on Sunday 26 (6:00 p.m.) in the Multipurpose Pavilion of the city of Extremadura.
