During a recent interview with Aaj Tak, Akshay Kumar said that “India is everything to him.” He also said that he used to ‘feel bad’ when jokes were made about his Canadian passport. Akshay said: “India is everything to me. Everything I’ve earned, everything I own is from here and I’m lucky to have the opportunity to give back. You feel bad when people say something without knowing anything.”
During the interview, Akshay Kumar also revealed how he got his Canadian passport. He recounted that all this happened when more than 15 of his films had failed at the box office. Akshay said: “I thought, ‘Brother, my movies don’t work and you have to work. I had gone there for work. My friend was in Canada and he said, ‘come here’.” I applied and got it. I only had two movies left to release and it was lucky that they both became blockbusters. My friend said, ‘Go back, start working again.’ I got a few more movies and kept getting more. work.”
Akshay further says: “I had forgotten that I had a Canadian passport. I didn’t even think that I should change this passport, but yes, now I have applied to change my passport.
