Ahmed Masood’s serious allegations against Taliban, determination to continue fighting

Ahmed Masood, leader of the anti-Taliban resistance front, expressed hope that the international community would stick to its policy of not recognizing the Taliban.

“We welcome the position of countries around the world not to recognize the Taliban government and to call for a comprehensive government in Afghanistan,” Massoud said in a statement.

According to the statement, the Taliban have carried out operations in Kandahar, Balkh, Daikundi, Andarab and Panjshir provinces which are clear examples of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.

Ahmed Masood says he will fight and resist until he achieves the legitimate goals of his people.

It is believed that the Afghan Taliban has denied all allegations of war crimes and retaliation. Yesterday in Qatar, Afghanistan’s caretaker Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaki said that the security situation has improved throughout Afghanistan and the incidence of violence is higher than in the past. Some sources have claimed that Ahmed Massoud and former Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh had fled to Tajikistan after the Taliban seized Panjshir in the first week of September 2021, but these reports have not been confirmed.
