Abinader will sign hydrocarbons agreement with Argentina

Abinader firmará acuerdo de hidrocarburos con Argentina

The President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader indicated yesterday that during his trip to Argentina they will sign three agreements with the neighboring Latin American nation.

Hydrocarbons, grape production, as well as health and medicine, are the issues on which these agreements between the two countries will revolve.

Abinader left the San Isidro Air Base, after 11:00 in the morning, bound for Argentina where he will meet with his counterpart, Alberto Fernández.

Later, he will visit Chile to participate in the inauguration of the new Chilean president, Gabriel Boric Font.

The president travels accompanied by ministers Roberto Álvarez, of Foreign Relations; Víctor (Ito) Bisonó, from Industry and Commerce; and the president of the Dominican Oil Refinery, Leonardo Aguilera.

This Wednesday the President is expected to hold a business round with Argentine businessmen.

He will then participate in a lunch offered by his Argentine colleague at the Casa Rosada, seat of government. What’s more, has scheduled a visit to the Argentine National Congress where he will be received by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massaand where he will be recognized, according to a statement released by the Presidency.
