A hundred young people gathered this Sunday afternoon in an activity zone near Arras (Pas-de-Calais) to participate in a wild motocross rodeo.
The meeting had been given to participants on social networks to practice “cross bitumen”.
On the images posted by our colleagues from La Voix du Nord, we see dozens of these participants heckling a car, in which is a young man of 16, who passed there by chance. His vehicle was completely overturned.
Rescued by firefighters, the teenager was not injured but said he was shocked by the scene.

A practice difficult to contain
As Grégory Joron, secretary general of the SGP-Police unit, explains to CNEWS “the police are not authorized to chase these individuals”, in order to avoid causing dramatic accidents.
And for good reason, the followers of the urban rodeo do not hesitate to take reckless risks on the road, including to sow the police.
The urban rodeo is punished with one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros.
