ABU DHABI: A Pakistani taxi driver in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates returned the 1 lakh 1 thousand dirhams he got from the taxi to the original owner.
According to Urdu News, a Pakistani limousine driver in the United Arab Emirates Dubai has set an example of honesty by returning 100,100 dirhams he received from a taxi.
The Pakistani driver handed over the money to the Al Barsha police station, which a passenger had forgotten in the taxi.
Brigadier Majid Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station has awarded the award to Pakistani driver Sufyan Muhammad Riaz, praising his honesty and trustworthiness.
The Pakistani driver thanked the Dubai Police, saying that he had received the money from the taxi, and sought the police’s help to deliver it to the rightful owner at the first opportunity. The police immediately handed over the money to the original owner.
