A man fired shots at a house in Villa Española where a family was staying

A home from the neighborhood Spanish villa, in Montevideo, was the scene of a shooting on Wednesday evening. At around 11 p.m., a man who arrived on foot and fled opened fire.

There was a family of more than five people in the house, including minors. There were no injuries. One of the bullets shattered a glass and flew past the people. Other projectiles hit the door and wall, police sources said Underlined.

The house is located on Irureta Goyena and Serratosa streets. Surveillance cameras in the area capture a man approaching on foot, shooting and fleeing, also on foot. He is the attacker and remains a fugitive. The police are looking for his identity.

Scientific police officers collected several firearm casings from the scene.
